Rob Hoonan, MFELC President and Wailea Beach Resort - Marriott, Maui’s Director of Engineering will be retiring.
Ever since Rob arrived on the Shores of Maui, this young waterman began his humble journey in the hospitality industry as a food server. His reputation for kindness, reliability, and dedication quickly grew. Over the years, he welcomed every opportunity that came his way, evolving into the engineering heart of every property he supported. Deeply respected by everyone he has worked with, Rob built strong, lasting relationships with partners like you; relationships that have meant so much to him and to all of us here on Maui.
To celebrate Rob's incredible journey, we're hosting a casual Pau Hana fundraiser filled with stories, laughter, and fond memories. Together, we'll honor his legacy through his work and support of our Tradewinds VoTech Awareness Training Program, a cause very close to his heart. We sincerely hope you're able to join us and consider sponsoring our fundraiser as we say A Hui Hou to Rob as he paddles out in to a well deserved retirement, while we warmly say Aloha his successor Brian Corrigan.
